Get Safe Online promote their awareness week with Outdoor Advertising

Get safe Online - Advertising BillboardOut of Home International, part of the Media Agency Group are launching a Outdoor advertising campaign to raise awareness of Get Safe Online.

22nd – 26th October is Get Safe Online Week in the UK. During this week the Click & Tell Roadshow will travel around London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Belfast and Cardiff with a team of industry experts to spread the word, and give information on how you can stay secure whilst online.

The outdoor advertising campaign is a multi format mix of telephone box advertising, roadside 6 sheets and 48 sheet billboards.

Get Safe Online is encouraging everyone to ‘Click & Tell’ – check out advice on the Get Safe Online website, pick up a few online safety tips and pass them on to friends, family, colleagues, neighbours or even strangers who may benefit from the advice.

Each day, the Get Safe Online tour bus will be visiting schools, universities and city centres to hand out free advice on how to keep secure online. Outdoor Advertising in the areas will encourage people to attend the roadshow and receive invaluable advice.

Tony Neate, CEO of Get Safe Online, says: “Put simply, the internet is one of the greatest inventions the world has ever seen. It has so much to offer us all. Get Safe Online Week is definitely not about taking the fun out of being connected online, but about making sure everyone knows how to stay safe and secure when using it. We want to get as many people as possible sharing their experiences to make more people aware of how to protect themselves, their friends and family online.”
