Award-winning multinational design and engineering company, Atkins, is implementing a series of digital 6-sheet billboards with Out of Home International, elevating their profile in order to recruit railway production staff in the South West.

The advertising campaign will be placed at East Croydon station for the 2 weeks leading up to their rail recruitment day on Thursday 3rd October.

Presenting the headline ‘the people behind tomorrows railway infrastructure’, the advert directs engineers, designers, planners and planning managers towards the Atkins open day. The brand logo stands at the top of the creative, with a website and interactive QR code placed along the bottom. Event details are clearly presented above, with the background displaying the image of an Atkins employee.

Atkins has been in existence since 1938 and has since expanded from its London home to operate across 29 countries, adhering to the motto ‘plan, design, enable’. The use of digital 6 sheet billboards presents Atkins with a dominating method of reaching target audiences, with the unavoidable screen permeating the bustling station environment. The station stands one minutes’ walk from the event venue of No 1 Croydon, thus ensuring that relevant travellers are accessed.

CEO of Out of Home International’s parent company Media Agency Group, Lee Dentith, said:

Digital 6 sheets are an effective way to cut through the crowds, allowing Atkins to reach aspiring employees in the Croydon area. The digital format will allow Atkins to project a sense of quality and innovation, which links perfectly with their company operations.”
